DRY OUT EVERYTHING!
Was the motto of this morning – our tent, bile gear and clothes and bags were all soaked from the rain yesterday. We spent the first hour and a half drying things in the sun.
We tried to grab some breakfast to bake meanwhile, but everything was closed since it was a sunday. After drying everything, we found a bakery who had open and made some nice brunch for us.
The ride today went very smooth, we set the target for Osnabrück and went for it. About 46km in we looked up a campsite and found one close to the city, and the ride where 10km less so we went for it, the only down side was a 12% climb we had to make, which were the toughest part on the tour so far – even when walking the bikes up half ways.
We setup camp quick, enjoyed the nice sun and had all you can eat asian food nearby and some beers before tipping off to the tent.
We are looking forward to go by the Rhine river soon.
